Thanks for the challenge, Hannah. I drive my family crazy with picking through packaging and stuff looking for things to use on cards. I took this piece of twine off of a package just the other day and threw it in my pile.
I had such a great time making this card today. I love this image of the old fisherman. My family (maternal) is from Kentucky and my granddaddy was raised in a cabin in the woods! I still have a great deal of relatives living in that part of the country. I even have a great uncle named Elvis .

Holly, this is really a neat creation. Good ole' America and one of our favorite pastimes. I like that you embossed the old guy in white with the rest of the colors. Fabulous.

Great card, Holly. Love the "down home" feeling of it. My husband is from the South and doesn't eat catfish above the Mason Dixon Line! : ) Love the distressed flag panel.
