I started out with a Brandywine card base. I cut another smaller piece of Burgundy cardstock on which I sprinkled embossing powder – no ink, just sprinkled the powder onto the cardstock and then I carefully heated from the bottom side with my heat gun until the embossing powder melted, giving a beautiful snowy effect.
My Stampendous Santa image was created using the Faux Silk Technique which works great for a vintage image.
