Here is my second card for Barbara. I couldnÂ’t resist the adorable image that Leigh made for us. I decided to paper piece mine. I changed it up a little by placing shimmery hearts on the handle and spout, flowers on Floyd and a little door on the bottom as in the original photo.
TFL and hope you like it!
I wrote a little limerick because I just have one of those minds where words start coming and next thing you know itÂ’s a poem or a limerick. While I was watching TV over the weekend the thoughts started to come about Floyd and hereÂ’s what I wrote! Enjoy!!
There once was a bird named Floyd
Whom everyone tried to avoid
It was only his flutter
That made others shutter
Poor Floyd was alone in a void
Floyd found a friend named Tweety
She certainly was a real sweetie
His flutter made him stutter
Tweety thought heÂ’s a nutter
But FloydÂ’s got a thang for Tweety
DonÂ’t worry Miss Tweety had thought
Doc Sitstill is the one she had sought
His first name was Phil
He wouldnÂ’t bring pill
It was a cage the Doc had brought
Coo-Coo was Doc PhilÂ’s assistant
A funny little bird, quite consistent
The cage was the rage
Poor Floyd was enraged
Miss Tweety sat back in the distance
Floyd was inside of the cage
Doc Sitstill had started to gauge
Coo-Coo was in shock
Tweety watched the clock
As Floyd didnÂ’t hover in the cage
The fluttering Floyd he could sit
A life with Tweety he might split
Floyd flew to a tree
Looking quite art-sy
Now flutterless; Floyd he did sit

Robin, this is just a cute, cute card and what an awesome poem. You are giving Cindy a run for the money....
