When I started this card I had no idea it would end up being for the WT challenge to use VersaMark but the metal pieces on the image were the last thing to color and I wanted it raised a little so the VersaMark pen and silver embossing powder made it happen.
I used the out of the box with nestabilities technique to cut out the image panel. Coluzzle and scissors were used inside the rope loop and I embossed the panel in that area with the die and a metal ball stylus.
Since this is going to be a card displayed at shows for the company I thought I better secure that rope so very then layers of cardstock were built up and glued at the highest point of the rope; now itÂ’s unlikely itÂ’ll catch on anything and get pulled off.
Ink distressing was done on the tan base and border using Ranger black soot distress ink and sponge.
