I was messing around with distress inks and wet watercolour techniques last night when SCS was down, so I made a larger than normal (5"x7") card to use up the panel I made.
White 5"x7" base, next layer Bazzill. I tried ribbon for the long vertical strip, but in the end I took some more watercolour, spritzed it and dropped on 3 different reds, then stamped the flowers and added Stickles. Bit of a waste using 3 reds when most of it is covered up...
Tag was cut from watercolour paper and sponged with Broken China - I'll add a sentiment when I know where it's going.
Image panel is watercolour paper. I stamped the flowers and leaves with Versafine Black. Wet the sky area and added re-inker. Brushed all the flowers with a wet brush and coloured with Barn Door, Fired Brick and Worn Lipstick. Brushed the leaves with a wet brush and coloured with Peeled Paint. Panel is edged with Gold Stickles.
Penny Black butterfly stamped with Spiced Marmalade and sponged with Mustard Seed. Body stamped on the card with brown ink, wings cut out and popped up at the tips, stuck to the card at the body end.
