My base is Always Artichoke, 1st layer is Cherry Cobbler and the 3rd layer is Olive. Both the Cherry and Olive were embossed with CB ef Holly. Then I used Staz-On and stamped my image on Very Vanilla. I used a blender pen and my SU inks to color the image. I used the Ticket Punch on all the corners. I then stamped my sentiment on VV using Basic Black. Made a little bow with the Cherry twine. I popped both the image and the sentiment up using dimensionals.
This is for today's sketch challenge. I like the layout and am going to make more for some of my Christmas cards.
I am trying to keep my Christmas cards flat so I don't have to take out a loan to mail them!
Thanks for looking. Hope you like it.

Sylvia, this is a beautiful Christmas card. Love your colors and embossing....and your chick-a-dee and holly are colored so beautifully. I hear you on the USPS issue of mailing relatively flat cards! : ) Also, who wants to receive(or send) a card with a big smusched bow??!! I think you solved the problem VERY well. Your friends will be thrilled to receive this card.

Sylvia, your little note about the sentiment made me giggle...definitely something I would say There a few cards with this image in the gallery today. I need to get this off of the wish list and onto the have list...it is very striking. You've done a gorgeous job of coloring and your EF choices just perfect! The twine and sentiment finish this beauty in the nicest way. Beautiful card, my friend!
