I've been really enjoying my new Oval Scallop die from SU, and the last couple of cards that I made had some excellent scrap ovals and frames left, so I decided to use them to make a card. As soon as I saw the Build a Blossom set from SU, I knew that I wanted to make a poinsetta with it. However, I really struggle with the coordinating punch, so I used a Sizzix flower die instead. After I cut the flowers, I crumpled them up and seperated the cardstock layers, and stamped the 'wrong' side with the Build a Blossom stamp. I did use the Blossom punch to make the leaves.
Thanks for looking!

Darla, this card nearly took my breath away when I first saw it! It is absolutely gorgeous!!! The touch of the pale blue pearls that match the color of the petals you stamped is just beautiful! The scallop die frame really makes a great area for a main image, but I like how you set the poinsettia off to the side. Lovely card my friend! TFS

Wow, this is really beautiful! That poinsetta is fabulous and very clever. Your little blue pearls are the perfect touch. TFS
