This is a simple card, but it looks elegant. I used the SU swirl folder for the background,a Spellbinders die and a bow. I made the bow with the Bow Easy, but have ordered a peg bow maker after watching Becca on Amazing Paper Grace demo how she works with one. My ribbon was a little wide for the Bow Easy. I smeared 3 ink colors on an acrylic block and picked up the color with a wet brush. I forced myself to leave little parts white. That's hard for me to do. I have joined SU and have begun building a sample board of cards for display when I do my Open House kick-off. My opening order hasn't arrived, so I am using previously purchased supplies. I have a huge investment in Spellbinders and I think this is one of their prettiest dies. I have yet to figure out the sandwich to use in my Big Shot and have used the Cuttlebug instead. I have a huge investment in CB folders. Stepping back from those investments to focus on SU has been a little difficult. Obviously, it makes no sense to demo things you can't sell. Making myself think about stamping from a business perspective rather than an art lover's perspective is an on-going challenge. SU's strength is the color coordination and that everything is top quality. I really like what I can offer through SU, but I like some of my other stuff, too. Stepping back from other ink pads or images isn't that difficult, but stepping back from some of my dies is a real struggle. Clearly, it's one I don't always win. I am hoping people will want to come make this card with me.

Very, very pretty! Beautiful stamping, I'm sure your customers would love to come and make this! I rarely make a card without using my Nesties, whatever company's stamps I use!
