The challenge is to look at the photo Karen posted and get inspiration from it and this is what I came up with. Julia asked for masculine cards in the Ways To Use It challenge so this will fit.
Stamp the card with all the images first using a stamp positioner. The deer were stamped before the tree and I used a post it note to maked off. The deer and grass in the headlight beams were colored in first. All images are colored in with ink; you can use pad ink or bottled refill ink; use artist brush or h2o brush/aqua painter.
Next you add the headlight beams, to achieve the look I used VersaMark straight from the reinker bottle and brushed it on with a small artist brush. I then inked over the entire card with a brayer in the navy color. All other grass area, tree and truck were colored after the brayer work was done.
The stars were added with coarse salt and a drop of water using a cotton swab. You can also add smaller stars with white StazOn and a dot rubber image such as the Itty Bitty Background size. Also a white gel pen will work for the job.
The black c/s is embossed with black EP using Canvas
Not to fearÂ…if you notice the truck has its brake lights shining as he stops so he doesnÂ’t hit the deer at the side of the road! HeÂ’s a very safe night driver!

Great idea! Thanks for sharing your technique. I would have never thought of that. And the card is great - just the kind of card my husband would love! Thank you for sharing.
