This is for IC297 and Blumenthal Lansing is our inspiration site. I was drawn to the holiday buttons and browsed the Christmas and Halloween collections. I was inspired by Just Batty. http://www.blumenthallansing.com/ima.../550001359.jpg
I pulled out an image by Penny Johnson from Stampavie's new Autumn/Winter release called Batty. I stamped the image on watercolor paper, painted and cut out to pop up in my frame. I used a portion of a sentiment from Tina Wenke's new Peace on Earth sentiment set. I added a couple of punched oak leaves to add a little punch to the sentiment. Does anyone besides me think it is very, very diffucult to paint black?
Stamps: Stampavie Penny Johnson-Batty, Tina Wenke-Peace on Earth
Ink: Black Versafine, Pumpkin Pie, Pumice Stone, Black Soot, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo
Paper: Watercolor, Pumpkin Pie, Making Memories Halloween DP, Brush, Nesties, MS Oak Leaf Punch, Crimper, Mounting Tape, Stickles, Deckle Scissors

Those have to be the cutest little bats.
I'm sure that sweet little boy is dressed up as Dracula, but he reminds me so much of a Downs Syndrome boy I know who loves to dress up and went through a Phantom of the Opera stage in a similar swirly black cloak.
