I am also happy to report that I have finally found my pinking shears again when I emptied my room last week to make the switch with some new furniture. I used them to cut the ends of my ribbon off and I used some mini brads to gather the ribbon on the back and create a pleated look. Doesn't it look like a candy wrapper? I also used the pinking hearts border punch to add a pinked border at the bottom.
I used the new Dazzling Details to add glitter to the spiderwebs, the main image and some of the dots in the background. I also stamped some stripes on my Cajun Craze button using black StazOn to create a different look. Worked out perfectly!
Speaking of the main image, it was colored with markers using the marker layering technique. All I can say is, that technique takes practice!! Karen makes it look easy, but it's not! At least, the image is small and you can't really see the marks too much, but hopefully, I'll do better next time.
TFL!
