Although I had already completed something incorporating painting, I decided to do a separate card for Ms. Lydia. I took a long strip of watercolor paper and painted it with two different shades of shimmer blue. When dried, I punched some squares. Within the squares I stamped silhouettes in black. On the white base card I stamped other silhouettes in bashful blue. The same images are stamped on the tiny sentiment panel.
The swirl of clear gems adds some punch to this simple design. It's hard to appreciate the lush, shimmery color of the squares in a photo.
