Just sharing some samples in prep for a Copics coloring class.....LOVE these Kanban ladies! Moulin Rouge line is so befitting! Back when curves were okay and even in.....I have a few of my own (maybe too many! LOLOLOL)
When I saw these ladies I had the immediate impression that they might be readying themselves in a mirror so I had to try to put that into effect. I had hoped for more time to work on it...but it came out alright - I think anyway! I colored up the lady with Copics and did another one on a Shimmer Sheetz and then cut it to fit the Spellbinders frame die...stamped the Shimmer Sheetz using StazOn ink and let it dry very well....and colored it up with copics- being careful not to touch the outline so as not to ruin the tips. I expected it to come out lighter than on cardstock and it did - so I got the desired effect....cut the frame from glossy black paper and highlighted it with Viva Inka Gold (gold and red).....then layered it up....added some other embellishments that I thought might fit the era...an viola'
Thought that it came out pretty cool....but then that's just my opinion... : )
Thanks for stopping by!
THANKS! for taking a look!
