This card was created for today's ODBDSLC. The challenge - think notions or seamstresss! Complete challenge details including Mr. Linky may be found at ODBD's blog. When using online gallerys please use ODBDSLC71. We want to see what you create!
For my card I punched out three coordinating DP and then placed them together to form what look's like a grandmother's flower garden quilt block. I stitched them to a white CS base and likely inked it with distress ink. I ran the entire base through an embossing folder to give it that "quilted" feel. I included "notions" like custom dyed seam binding, buttons, lace (paper and real) plus I used a couple of sewing related stamps from ODBD's recent release Sew Special and Pincushion Single. Complete details may be found on my blog. Thanks for looking!

Lori, your card is completely lovely, and moving too! I have used this quilt pattern in cloth, and it never looked this pretty. I love how you have used the new sets, and how beautifully your seam binding and lace frame it up so well. You truly stamp with your heart- it is all over this! Hugs.....
