Anne(Itsapassion) is hosting the Inspiration Challenge today. She gave us the site of MODERN LOLA which is filled with colorful things for mainly children. I chose these TWO LITTLE GIRLS in their Lilly Pulitzer outfits. They looked like shell gatherers to me!
I used the reverse masking technique for my jar and then brayered the inside with the colors. I stamped the shells on computer paper(so they would be thin), colored with Copics, cut them out and glued them "inside" the jar.

This is Beautiful, Sallie!! The absolutely wonderful memories that this evokes, thank you, those were wonderful innocent days of yesteryear on the shell filled beach in Carpenteria, Ca!! I filled a couple of coffee cans with seashells!

Sallie this is inspired and full of wonder. I love everything you do but this is very special. Every month I check the dirty dozen to see when you join the group. This card is over the top magnificent.

Oh my Sallie, this is just gorgeous! You nailed this challenge. I actually said, Ohhhhh, when I saw your special jar. Maybe I should make one of these to remind me of my summer days when I go back to teaching! LOL Perhaps I should put stamps, inks and ribbons in mine though!
