I thought today's sketch was perfect for me to try an homage to Queen Carol (aka Gengerbeary. Her cards are gorgeous masterpieces full of layers, gems, pearls, borders, dies, stickles, gold glitz, luscious ribbon and on and on. With this card I tried to imitate her style as I could never truly CASE one of her artworks.
I stamped the poinsetta from B & B 2x in versamark and embossed with gold detail ep, colored with WWC, trimmed out, layered cutting through some petals to lift for dimension, created a sparkly center with stickles, mounted on an old olive embossed circle punch and then onto a lacy circle die in espresso. Th tag is hand cut, sponged in pink pirouette and edged with stickles. The sentiment is a rub-on.
The RHR panel is stamped with the berries from Peaceful Wishes, sponged in cherry cobbler, pierced, dotted with gold stickles and edged with gold ink. The MS border punch is inked with antique linen, metallic gold and then blinged up with lots of red pearls. The Holiday Treasures dp is also sponged first with choc chip and then with gold ink.
Thank you, Carol, for your inspiration and sharing your lovely work. Enjoy your reign!!

This is so super deligthful. I love that you paper pierced the border-one of my favorite design elements and the pretty punched border. This is positively exquisite. Thank you so much for participating in the QFTD challenge. I really appreciated it so much.
