You can see my samples in the 1999-2000 SU Catalog using the Eggshell Crackle technique. It's a fun way to age your cards. It's been awhile since I've done this technique & thought that the Provencal set would look great crackled. The crackle medium is a 2-step process. You brush your work with step 1 bottle, let dry, then brush your work with step 2 bottle. Let dry again. Then I rub in brown antiquing medium (Folkart) with a paper towel & wipe off excess.

The Crackle Medium I used was FolkArt Eggshell Crackle Medium. I forgot to mention that I stamped on the "back side" of Glossy cardstock. It's a heavy cardstock which takes the layers of the crackle medium well. Just follow the directions on the bottles. Normally one would use acrylic paint first.....I just stamped & watercolored first.

Fantastic! I love the vintage look, and this technique works great with it. Next trip to Michael's, I'll be getting some of this. Thanks so much for the details. Linda
