I have no idea what I'll use this card for, I was just playing with the pretty crystal embellishment to see what I could come up with.
The brown scalloped oval is from way back when The Paper Zone was here in town. They area little larger than the Spellbinders scalloped ovals, but it was the perfect size for this crystal flourish.
I pierced a hole at each scallop, then did paper embroidery around the edge, it makes a beautiful frame for the flourish.
The ribbon is a solid brown and a sheer brown, layered together, neither looked good enough on their own. To get the beautiful bow, I did it the cheatin' way, by tying it together in the middle with embroidery floss.
Joy is stamped in brown Staz On, then die cut with the smallest Beaded oval. Then this is tied to the bow.
Really, this was an easy card to make. Doing the embroidery is easy, once you get the hang of what you're doing.
