I've been looking for a good set of clock stamps for a while, and finally settled on HOTP's Timeless.
Today's sketch looked great for making a masculine card - my brother's birthday is coming up. It's gloriously hot and sunny here today, I see I should try to take a better photo.
A2 cream base, sponged with Walnut Stain.
Next layer is Bazzill, stamped with one of the stamps from the set and distressed. The clock paper I've had for years - I rounded the bottom edges and wiped all edges with Walnut Stain. After sticking the strips down I wrapped two strips of grosgrain ribbon around before sticking this layer to the base. Added a sentiment from the set and black half-pearls at the top of each strip.
For the clock face I stamped it with Versafine, sponged and stippled it a bit and then added 3 layers of UTEE. I tried to get that to show in my detail photo but I don't think I succeeded too well
I'll be back later - time to go and lie in the sun with a good book - gotta make hay!!
