Happy Teapot Tuesday everyone. Here is what I came up with for this week Teapot challenge - Christmas in July - we are to make cards with a Gingerbread theme, Gingerbread men, Gingerbread houses - anything sweet, cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, candy with a holiday twist - well I think I have brought alot of what's on Mothermarks list.
My sweet little House mouses are busy decorating Miss Gingey's House - getting it all prettied up for Christmas.
I stamped the image with versafine onyx black ink and clear embossed. coloured image with Tombow and Stampin Up markers. Added liquid pearls to the frosted areas and stickles on the lollypops and jelly beans. Let it dry. Cut out with nestability. Coloured the edge of the nesty shape - to accentuate the edge. Cut out rectangle of textured soft suede c/s and white acrylic watercolour papaer, layered and then sewed the edges. Made the ribbon tabs = cut a bamboo stick to look like a stick - put it through the tabs - to make my image look like a wall hanging.
I really am pleased with how this turned out.
I hope it is going to tickle a teapotter.
Hugs..Pat
P.S... I picked up the HM stamp from a garage sale last year - it is the first time I have inked it up and coloured it. I will be making a few more of these

Now THAT's whut I'm talkin' bout! OMG! The perfect image for this challenge! Glad you were able to use the stamp that's been waiting for you for a full year! Tee hee! I would love to see this one in real life with all of the fun textures and extra special gooey stuff on it! It truly looks like something sticky is comin' outa that tube of frosting! I don't blame you for wanting to do more of these! Its precious! Very cute Pat!
Dude, wake up! Those who don't help build, don't getta eat fresh baked cookies after the work is done! Always one in a bunch, Pat! Could be the after math of a sugar high! Ha!
