For last Tuesday's Color Challenge (CC332)
I loved the color challenge for last Tuesday but I don't know how close I am to the colors of pool party, wild wasabi and chocolate chip - but I used what I had.
This was really a quick card. I made the base of my card out of green cardstock, folded at top so finished size is A2 card. Then I just cut out 2 very narrow rectangular shaped pieces - one in what I hope is close to pool party, and the other in chocolate. I used a scalloped border punch on one side of the chocolate panel, inked up a background stamp (sanded) in chocolate and stamped the light blue panel and glued together.
Then I punched two circles - one regular and one scalloped. Stamped my image in chocolate, sponged around edges in pale blue to match rectangular border. Then I just made my own tag with the word hello.
Assembled the entire card - quick, quick, quick. I am developing a love for CAS cards. They make up for easy masculine cards too.
Thanks for dropping by and taking a look. Sure hope you like it, & let me know what you think.
