I made this card for the "Land that I Love" monthly contest with SU. Didn't win, but figured I'd post it now. The contest was to show projects "celebrating the United States or Canada" and when I first started mulling ideas an eagle came to mind. I've seen some great punch art for awhile now but no eagles, so I thought I'd try my hand at it. Although it's now "traditional" in it's colors of red, white and blue, I like it anyway.

I am just getting into Punch Art and your eagle is fantastic. I think thematically the bold masculine image is not well suited to the feminine green dsp in the background. That is my take-away. Easily changed. But really, you made something very special and well-suited to the challenge. Keep up the great work. Our downline is going to do the monthly challenges as part of our monthly meeting, so I will be home chewing my fingernails each month myself!
