This week's challenge at Happileigh Scrappin' is special folds and shaped cards - to make cards that are a different shape than the usual square or rectangle. Or make a card or project with multiple folds - easel, gate, boxes, anything that has more than one fold.
I decided to make a center step card using Leigh's new digi this week - Court Jester. I colored two of the Court Jesters with Copics and popped up one on top of the other. I also colored the buttons and Birthday Banner with Copics. The buttons are popped up on the sides. Everything is glued on a pale blue-grey checked paper then matted on dark and then light purple cardstock.
We'd love to have you join us over at Happileigh Scrappin' for this week's challenge.
It was just pointed out to me that this card fits this week's teaparty for Jake and I read in the destination station that it's not too late to make it a birthday card. I've been gone and super distracted lately, and haven't kept up with the last couple of teaparties, but here is the card for Jake's teapaprty.
