Congrats to Jennie! What a wonderful gallery! I love the CAS look (clean & simple), but it's something I struggle trying to achieve. After looking thru her gallery, I chose her Faux Margarita to case. I kept the faux postage drink theme and layout. I used different images and dp, added glitter and another black layer.
Recently, I made a card using faux postage and it reminded me how much I used to like doing it. So Jennie's card was a no brainer for me. I used the same Faux Postage Template that Jennie used, but enlarged it slightly before printing it out on c/s. I printed it out again on plain paper and cut out the insides of the postage frames to use as a mask. After placing it over my c/s version, I stamped the martini glasses and little garnish. I colored them w/ markers then masked them and lightly sponged on a little of the neptune ink.
I cut the faux postage sheet w/ the stamp scissors, matted it w/ black then attached it to the dp. I stamped the greeting and little martini glass on the dp, matted it w/ black and attached it to my 5 " square card. The glue pen was used to add just a little glitter to the glasses, olives and orange rind.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

Wow! Your card rocks. The stamps with the black layering really grab your eye. The BG paper is fantastic.. makes me think of olives. This is so well thought out and executed. TFS
