'This is one of the first cards I've made since March. I had such a rough allergy season this year. I didn't feel like doing much at all. Finally feeling better and trying to stamp again. I received this bench image from a SCS friend, Leslie (aka - Marleygo). Thank you Leslie! This bench imagine was perfect for some much needed watercolor practice. It reminded me of the Bible verse: Matthew 11:28 Come to Me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. I realized after I took the picture that the verse reference did not stamp on the paper, even though it's on the label. I bought the stamp on Ebay. I have so few stamps that are not from Stampin Up!; I didn't think to check that detail before purchasing. I thought if it's on the label, it will appear in the stamped image. Oh well. After I took this picture, I handwrote the verse reference on the bottom left corner. So, it's now on the card. This one will be for the Divine Design Challenge to use a Bible verse on your project. I submit this card for the month of April. I hope to catch up on all the months I missed while not feeling well. All your comments are appreciated and TFL.

Fabulous watercoloring, Diane! I have never tried that! I don't think you need any PRACTICE....this is magnificent!!! I'm so happy that you could use the image. It is lovely! The verse is perfect with this image too! I can just picture sitting on the bench, comtemplating things and Jesus sitting right down next to me...giving me encouragement and hopefully some answers! Beautiful card, my friend!

What a wonderfully restful bench! I love the birdhouse, and the hat, and you colored them so beautifully. Love that you distressed the sentiment panel to m atch the wood of the bench.

Diane...it so good to see you back. I have missed you and your lovely creations. You did an awesome coloring job, and the scene is perfect for your verse. One of my favorites too. Thanks for participating in our Bible Verse Challenge. :-) LM
