We Twisted Sisters were to make an orange, turquoise, and green card and we got extra points if it was a summer theme. I used a clear stamp set to make the beach scene and sentiment panel. Using the required emboss resist technique, I colored the stamp with markers and then stamped the image on white CS. Then went over the stamped image with a VersaMark pen; embossed with clear EP. After it cooled a minute, I sponged on the ocean and sky using a Post-It-Note to mask each section going a little heavier with the sponging at the horizon line. Added some water hi-lights with a white gel pen.

Oh, Tater, how pretty! I'm still giggling at Lesley's remark about the gull poop. I was picturing myself sitting under that tree and then read that part of her comments - and I still want to be under that tree - but could you draw and color an anti-gull poop hat on me??!! Lovely card, Tater!

Ahhhhh, Tater!!! You so MADE it to the challenge, even with all that is going on in your busy life this past week!! Hope all is well now!!! Praying.............
Your Card!! - wow, I can almost feel the ocean breeze and hear the water lapping the shore as I picture all the twisted ones, heading to your beach scene for a marguerita! GREAT job on the emboss resist - a lot of work the way you did it, but a fantastic result!!!
Don't forget - we all need SOMEthing to keep those darn seagulls away from us - maybe a huge umbrella - or 2 or 3??? TERRIFIC CARD!!
