This card is for 2 challenges, this week's sketch challenge (SC342), and ways to use it (WT332 - Heavy Metal).
I was so excited when the ways to use it challenge was to do Heavy Metal. What is more than heavy metal than a "rocker" - LOL. BUT the reason I was excited, was I had struggled coming up with an idea for this week's sketch challenge. Well, my piano keyboard fit the bill and fit the sketch perfectly.
This is going to be for my cousin's grandson (my 3rd cousin). His birthday is coming up, and he is in a band at age 15, and he plays the guitar. I am hoping he gets as much joy out of this card as I did making it for him. I did add a metal swirly thing on the card to have some true "metal" on the challenge
Three sets of stamps are used here:
Little guitar player is a digi from Bugaboo Stamps and colored with Copics
Party like a Rock Star was a dollar stamp at Michaels (Studio G)
The keyboard, and music notes are from Layers of Color Art Stamps
I embossed the blue panel with a sheet music EF.
The keyboard is popped up for a 3-d effect
I really had fun making this card. Sure hope you enjoy it too. Thanks for checking it out, I appreciate it

Isn't great when sometimes things just come together? Your card is GREAT for a teenager who plays the guitar, Barb. Love the keyboard for the long narrow panel and terrific coloring of your "rockerz' image.
