Oh my Greenie-one!!!!! This was a real struggle and challenge for me! Yikes! For the Twisted Sister Challenge, Irishgreensue said that we needed to use the emboss resist technique, turquoise (or some shade of blue) orange, green and for dessert, make is a summer themed card. WOW!!!
I colored the image with Prismacolored pencils and sponged around the edges. Cut out with a nestie. The bg was stamped with the shell in Versamark and clear embossed. I then sponged some green and orange ink around and then wiped off with a cloth. Not sure this was what Greenie had in mind, but it was what MY MIND had in it!!!! LOL!
Please feel free to join us in this challenge. Just put TSC0722 in your keywords.
What do you think?

Sissy, this is one of the first SU sets I owned, and will never let go of it! You have done a beautiful job, and the summer breezes are felt way over here! Lymi.....

Well, look who fought the giant - and WON!! See, if you put your mind to it, you can do ANY thing that is placed before you!! Glad to see that you pulled out all the stops in your creative mind, and even brought dessert!!
Love your embossing resist, sponged over ever so lightly to keep that summer feel - snuck some green in on her dress and worked that orange and teal (yup, thats a blue) together with your reversed scalloped circle nestie - wow, Sis, that's a WRAP! Sweet look of summer to a "T" - you done good!!

Such a pretty way to rock this challenge! I love this set too, and she is the perfect summer focal point. Really pretty shades for your emboss resist...that turned out quite lovely. Nicely done, Lesley!

Amazing job with a big challenge! I like how you made the girl image into the true focal point and didn't overpower with the sponging. Very nicely done. I have this stamp and I never thought to use her in this way. Also, I have a bible verse stamp that would go along with this card idea. Thanks for the inspiration! Lovely card. TFS
