Metal. Hmm.... I don't use a lot of it but I did on this card. Those 3 rhinestone brads are definitely metal as you can see by the metal rims. That's probably about as metal as I get, lol. So along w/ today's WT challenge I'm also adding it to Tuesday's color challenge. (Did I mention I LOVE this color combo?)
For the Sweet William flowers, I stamped them w/ choc ink and die cut the various sizes, added color w/ markers then added some dimension w/ a stylus. After stacking them together, I inserted the rhinestone brads to hold them in place.
The bg was also stamped w/ choc ink and a little color added in places. I didn't have the right color of ribbon, so I used markers and a water brush to add the color in a soft, water color look. The sentiment was die cut w/ a small tag. I also added some neptune ink to the mint layer before attaching everything to my 5.5 x 4.25 card.
Thank so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

You've done a beautiful job *making do* with your colors! Love how you colored the bg, the ribbon and the blue ink on the green cs. Those colors are so restful. TFS.

Love the custom done ribbon. It coordinated perfectly with these beautiful colors.
