Inchie created for the theme of *By The Numbers* in Jmaraul’s Inchie Swap. In this group, the inchie requirements state that the inchie “must have a number on it somewhere.” Well, what better number than the most famous phone number in music history! This is what happens when you’re listening to the radio and need an idea for a themed inchie. LOL Raise your hand if you know this song. Extra points if you can sing the song by heart without looking up the song lyrics.
HereÂ’s a link if you would like to hear this classic song as it is still played on the radio today:
Jenny 867-5309 by Tommy Tutone was first released in 1982.
The song caused a fad of people dialing 867*5309 and asking for "Jenny".
Text On Inchie:
The text was computer generated using my PrintMaster program to shape the words in an arch over the little telephone. The text is printed on sheer yellow vellum – you can see through the vellum, but the printout quality is much better than cardstock. Special thanks to GottaProduce (Sandi) for the very generous gift of many sheets of beautiful high quality vellum in several yummy colors!
Telephone:
The little phone is a specialty eyelet. I glued a red rhinestone in the center of the dial to give it some pop. I made a small telephone cord using black crochet thread and glued it on the backside of the eyelet before setting the eyelet.
I hope you enjoyed my little one inch version of this classic song.
Thanks for looking!

You have done it again! Just BRILLIANT and I don't mean the bling! Keep right on creating - your inchies are the bees knees and better than sliced toast. Thanks for sharing!
