I got to go the tea party today! Interesting teapot based on a jesters hat! I had a hard time with this because it's supposed to go to a 13 y.o. boy. I attempted to keep it gender neutral and relatively unadorned. In the end I decided to add some silver stars (sorry no jingle bells in the house) and then I realized this also fits the Fan Club challenge this month.
maybe not my best work, but in my defense 13 y.o. boy cards are hard!

Yes they are! Now if it was a 13 year old little girl...piece of cake, pretty much anything pink! But a boy, what is one to do? Tee hee! I think you pretty much aced it though...its a great looking card...perfect I think! I like the colors and the embellishments you used! Its a reminder that we don't have to put 42,000 embellishments on a card for it to be awesome! Tee hee! Welcome back to the teaparty! Its so good to have you this week! Your card is a wonderful addition to Jake's gallery!

Yeah, teen boy cards aren't easy - but I think anybody who gets TPT cards will realise to expect some zaniness after the first three or four cards arrive, so I never worry too much .
Good idea to use stars instead of bells - much easier to post and just as effective. Great choice of sentiment, and I like how the silver Sharpie looks. I have a couple of leafing pens, but I can never get that neat a finish.
