Hey! It's "the day of..." and here I am! This is my card for TLC which was Color Block with a Twist. I think I need a bit of practice, but it was fun.
My card tells a story. I tried to give the impression of two cups of coffee. One is real and the other is just a thought.
I stamped my acrylic block with Ranger Vintage Photo and stamped the card. Then I stamped the left cup directly onto the card. The right mirror image is stamped onto the block, spritzed and then stamped onto the card.
I pictured a young woman writing to her soldier while drinking a coffee and thinking of him. The Rubbernecker doodles are part of the thought process.
The buttons look like the ones from Mom's button box that she cut off Daddy's Army shirts when they finally wore out. My card is plain, but meant to be that way.

Another one of a kind card Carol! I have always loved that Rubbernecker stamp set~but wasn't sure how to use it! But you sure used to perfection! Great card! TFS

I love the idea of the image as a thought...this is really fabulous!!!! I love your awesome color blocking and how you added the buttons in the corners!!!
