This photo is a copy from the Alberta Public Archives (taken from an obsolete brochure). I sprayed it with bronze smooch spray to age it.
I stamped the the main card with "Sanded". The green paper I stamped with Pumpkin Pie with the "Wonderful Weaves" to make it look like a patch. I distressed the purple paper.
I sewed on an old button with brown embroidery floss.
Hobbyists still pan for gold in the North Saskatchewan River here in Edmonton and they do get a bit of gold.
