For lack of a better term, I've been calling this the "crumpled vellum" technique for a card. A sideline showed this to me at our last gathering. Self-explainatory - crumple vellum, then DTP with your classic ink and let it dry. If you use a heat gun to speed up dry time, remember, smoke is bad. ;-) It's so fast and EASY but gives a fun look, especially with multiple colors.

What a pretty effect you got! I'll have to give this a try. Never can have too many ideas for vellum...One question, did you lay it flat after crumpling to do the DTP or did you try it while it was wadded up?

I smoothed it out after I crumpled and then did the DTP. For this card, I did Bravo Burgundy on one side then after it dried, flipped it over to do the Handsome Hunter so the colors wouldn't mix together and get yucky. If you have a really light touch you could probably do both on the same side, but I didn't want to chance it. Then I attached it BB side up, you can see the HH is a little bit less vivid since its on the back.
