I made this card for 2 challenges today; F4A73, to use twine, and the July week 3 Viva La Verve challenge using this terrific sketch by Irishlatte.
I've been wanting to copy this cute butterfly my daughter has on one of her shirts. I drew it onto a chipboard coaster and cut it out with a craft knife, added the BG paper, a body out of choc chip, sanded and sponged the edges with Regal Rose and added some dd glitter. The antennae are fashioned from some yummy chocolate twine I received FREE from Verve when I recently ordered from Julee (and there were lots of goodies in that bag!!)
Circle panel is embossed in swirls, sponged with baja and glittered up with more dd. I used a choc chip marker to make the dots around the popped up heart. The lovely sentiment is from a new Verve set, Words Cannot Express.

Beautiful!! I love everything about it! Pretty dp, whimsical swirly path for the butterfly, and your chocolate antennae! I also love your sentiment frame and how you softly colored it!

Clever use of the twine for the butterfly's antennae, Holly. Such a pretty card with the colors youu chose and the DPs and embossing. Love your little patterned hearts.
