As I do not have a daisy stamp (I know -- where have you heard this before?) I decided to use daisy lace and write a poem about daisies as an alternative. This card is a teapot gift for Rita who is facing some health challenges right now.
I mounted the lace on the turquoise handmade paper, attached that to embossed paper which I had sponged with turquoise ink. Then I mounted that on another layer of the handmade paper, then onto white and then, finally onto the pink polka dot paper.
Polka dots always make me smile and that's why I chose them.
The poem is:
When daisies go aÂ’wandering
TheyÂ’re often known as weeds.
Spread down the lanes and byways
By energetic seeds.
The daisies love to greet the morn
Their faces to the sky.
Your local neighbours, daisies,
Who nod as you pass by.

No daisy stamps! Now, I can understand that when Cindy wants us to go to Nascar, or play baseball that some of us (most of us ) don't have anything suitable, but flowers - I thought everybody had flower stamps. The lace is so pretty, and the sponged embossed layer - love that cheering turquoise you've used.
Your poem reminds me of a photo I took last week when I saw a whole lot of daisies growing down the wall beside the river at the railway station - like a vertical garden! It was so funny to see them there, from that angle you could see all the pink-tinged backs to the flowers.
