oh, should have mentioned that i CASEd Shelli's tin from convention... it just took me 6 months to get around to making them for christmas. i didn't have any pics that were really recent of the kids, so i let them fill in the spots. i offered to do it for them too, so we'll see. ;)
thanks!

the grandkids one is 2 pieces together and the great grand kids one is 3 pieces... i just cut the height strip and scored slightly under the width--i think that it was around 2 1/8 or something like that. Then i flipped the strip over and scored another 2 1/8. just keep going like that and you'll end up with a small piece, you may have to trim it to be 1/2" or so, just enough to tape another strip on to continue.
I scored, folded accordian style then attached the 2 or 3 strips together. i used a non-SU corner punch and it could handle doing the 2 sheets of CS. I have heard that the SU corner rounder doesn't do well with punching multiple layers of CS.
make sure that you plan your tie underneath the pull-out before taping it down into the tin.
i also left a little tab at the end to be the "pull tab" to hold when you are showing your pictures off.
Thanks so much for explaining the accordian style pull out...i have been sitting here trying to figure out in my head all day long how exactly i was going to do it! lol
