This is a wedding card for my niece. She used cherry blossoms on her invitations. Her colors were cranberry and silver.
I found a picture of cherry blossoms, printed it, then kind of traced the branch. I cut it out of textured silver card stock. I punched the blossoms out of pink and white mulberry paper because I wanted that wispy, light texture. I used another punch to cut the centers from cranberry colored mulberry paper and glued them to the flowers. I then colored the tips of the white petals with a hint of pink chalk.
Half pearls finished off the centers of the flowers. the branch and flowers are mounted on white shimmer paper with butterflies lightly embossed on it. The sentiment is printed from my computer on vellum paper and inserted in silver card stock that I punched using corner punches.
I wrote and printed a long sentiment on the inside, using vellum paper to print it on.
Thanks for looking.
