Today we were to make a card using a summer themeÂ…Â…..my cardÂ….
Amazing what stress can do to a person. About a month ago, you might have found me relaxin by the pool after work sipping who knows what. Then DD had her accident and now look what I am doing after workÂ…..scoopin horse poop! Must say, it tends to keep the weight off. hehe
IÂ’m just foolin with ya. I was going through my digis and came upon these two and couldnÂ’t decide which one to use, so I used them both. They fit my story perfectly. hehe By the way, DD is coming along fine. As most of you know she took a tumble off her horse and is in a wheel chair for six weeks. BUT, she is definitely on the mend. Me, I donÂ’t really scoop MaxÂ’s poop. I just take him out of his stall and put him in the big arena and let him roll. Today he rolled at least five times! That in itself is amazingÂ…Â…..what I didÂ….
I printed out the images and drew the scenes around. Coloring was done with copics and prisma pencils blending with gamsol. Cut each scene out, doodled edges, layered with tropical CS then put on a large black card.
Well, have a great weekendÂ….TFL :0)

this so true!!! love love love those pink boots. When I was at the doctor today, one of the techs was wearing pink boots and they were soooooo cool!! This reflects the stress you have been through for the past few weeks and you have dealt with it way better than this second image!!! I know secretly you are having fun taking care of Max. You talk about him a lot too. This is definitely the summer theme you have lived!! great drawings sis. tfs.

This is hysterical, and I can definitely identify with the then & now scenario! LOL I love it!
I wasn't aware of your DD's accident, but I do hope she's coming along well! That had to be scarey and it must frustrate her to have to be in a wheelchair while mending!

Happy to hear your DD is on the mend. I'm sure it's a relief for you to see her improving. Love your cards - both of 'em. (Well, all of 'em - as in, your entire gallery!) I used to be in 4-H when I was a kid (ages and ages ago) and I spent more time than I wanted to cleaning out my calf's stall. Somehow your card made me remember those days. Hmmmm.... Don't miss that aspect of being on the farm....
It's always so much fun to pop in to your gallery and see where your creativity has taken you! Thanks for sharing with us!

Aww, love the card today. Do I sense a trend with the second image and last weeks Teapot card? Similar themes on the ground. Also glad you are enjoying your 'pink top' boots!

These two cards are so funny!! I know someone that this lady could be! hehehe. No, not me! I just know that it was 3 teenage girls that did it!
So glad to know that Jessica is coming along. Max and his rolling makes me think of the bear scratching his back on the tree, "if it feels good do it"!

How did you catch that photo of me - you know, the babe sipping by the pool with cleavage? And, that darn Anne Ryan had to show up didn't she? That old bag is so jealous. This is incredible Mutnik and I LOVE your story and sense of humor. You are da best at this kind of originality!! Hugs!
