This week's Stampin' B's DT Challenge, brought to us by Anne Harmon (jdmommy here on SCS), is to make a beach scene which must include sand, either real or stamped.
I was thrilled to have an opportunity to use the new It's a Shore Thing stamp set that I won from The Craft's Meow last month. I stamped the sand hill images directly onto a sheet of cheap sandpaper from a pack that I picked up from Dollar Tree. So, there's my real sand, Anne!! And I hope you are wearing your sunglasses. This is a bright one!
Thanks for taking a look!
Emily

Shades on! LOL You are too funny. I love your bright, beach scene. I was just over to your blog and left a comment on one of your cards and now it won't let me leave more. Is there a problem with Blogger? ugh...hope not.

Okay, I'm ready - shades placed over eyes, but mind swept away from this fantastic card Emzi. The feel of the beach is right on and I love the way you did the sand with sandpaper. Zee Fruitcake isn't smart enough to think of that!! Great job!

Great beachy card! Love that you used sandpaper for your beach - and yes, it is a "bright" and sunny - perfect beach day!

Very cute! Love the bright colors and that "cheap" sand. Gotta go - I have to run to Dollar Tree before all the cool cheap sandpaper is gone - everyone is probably on their way there now after seeing how cute it is on this card.

What a great summer fun card. You are so clever using sand paper for the sand....I wouldn't have thought of that. Love the bright colors and the little bakers twine bow. Adorable.
