I often make cards to order, and this one was made for a friend of a workmate's of my daughters, who has just finished many years of studying for her Masters degree, and all she wanted was to sit and relax with her partner, drinking whiskey and watching the sunset, so this was my interpretation. I hope she likes it. The umbrella is paper pieced and the whiskey bottles are clip art! It was such fun to make this card. I used chalks for the background and a few stamps for the sand. My coloring skills are non-existent so this is the best I could do for the 2 ladies sitting in the chairs.

I just love this card! Love everything about it. I'm not sure what you're thinking about the "nonexistent" coloring skills. Love the composition, the coloring, and the way you seamlessly combined so many techniques. Do you recall where you found the image of the ladies on the beach? This could be a photo of me and my mom, minus the whiskey bottles for my mom and some poundage for me
ETA: oops, I looked again and realized the stamp must be part of "SU Sand." Sorry for my confusion; I'm a beginning stamper but learning so much from you all.
