A big CONGRATS to Nancy, a/k/a nwilliams6, for being selected Queen for the Day!! I knew you'd make it to the royal court sissy. No way you couldn't. Don't hold onto your crown and jewels as long as I did; although, I snuck a couple of them there jewels b/f handing the crown to Diz!!!
Nancy is a fellow punchie member and also a stamper I've kept up with over the years. She has to be one of the wittiest, fun and encouraging person on SCS. She keeps me in stitches.
Nancy, I've always told you your art was unique and I really realized it more when I tried to case one of your cards. There are so many you have handmade items to fit the theme of your cards or used some item or another that fascinates me. Didn't you use something from a co-worker that he dropped on one of your cards??? You are da woman.
Needless to say, zee fruitcake chickened out again and chose this more simple minded card for my simple mind:
I've been wanting to use a silhouette stamp on dp, so this one fit the bill. Instead of using the fence punch, I opted for the trellis punch. I embossed the silhouette image and sentiment so they would pop better. Used SU blushing bride dsp and black card stock.
For the flower, I used a larger white flower, punched a black glitter flower with the scallop punch and then glued on a pink rose.
Nancy, ENJOY your week and I sure had fun looking for a card from your awesome gallery. HUGZIZ !

Beautiful, Pam. That image looks gorgeous on that DP - and so very elegant! The trellis punch and flower are lovely touches and I see a bit of another punch inside your card!! Happy 4th!

Yes, dear Fruitflake. Caught red-handed stealing gems from the crown. Who would have thought you would stoop so low! Ha! Did you not realize that the crown you had was a fakezi one (just like your blog) and Peggy did a switcheroozi and got the real one to me. But, this is Nancy's week (Nutzi to some of us) and we all know she won't be stealing gems from the crown. She's far too sweet. And I must say you've gone all out honouring her as QFTD. Gorgeous card. For a Fruitflake you do mighty fine work. And even some punching to do us all proud. RYPH! Hugz!

Love this colour combo. The silhouette on this DP is perfect. I love the way you used the lattice punch (I keep looking at this punch and deciding I don't need it until I see a beautiful card like this and then I think all over again that maybe I really do need it). Love the flower you created too.
