This week's Inspiration Challenge had us to visit Oopsy Daisy, which is a darling little art store for children. My inspiration piece is here: http://www.oopsydaisy.com/NI2636.aspx
It reminded me of my Little Bitty Bird stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I also used the Paisley background stamp from SU! with white embossing powder for my base card. There is a little story "behind" the sentiment...I stamped the WRONG sentiment in that little space. I stamped 'hello' then remembered I was making a birthday card complete with the 'Happy Birthday' embossed panel already attached to the card....drat! Soooo, I stamped out the new sentiment, cut it out, glued it on top of my boo boo and called it a day. Oh, I did add a little Diamond Stickles to the birdie's wing for a little sparkle. Thanks for looking!

This is so sweet and isn't it fabulous how are mistakes can make things even better than we first imagined? Not that it wasn't perfect the first go round.....

I like all your layers and the embossed birthday is very appealing. Those added stitches around the mat really seperate it from the background. I like that. You really do nice neat work. tfs
