I turned my card going the other direction, separated the globe and the ship and staggered them, added the compass, added twine across the entire width of the card rather than just around the dp, and added brads in the upper left corner as well as the bottom right.
The second challenge is my second entry for this week's ways to use it - something old, something new. I already used the embossing folder in my first entry, so I am not counting that this time around - but the stamp set is my second new stamp set from Stampin Up that I got this week. I am so excited about my new purchases. This set is great to help out my need for masculine cards. It's called The Open Sea.
I am sending this card to my son. Hope it brings a smile to his face. Hope you like it too. - Let me know what you think. TFL

Barbie, your coloring on the map is awesome! I will have to try and case that next time I use this stamp set. I had to laugh because we both bought that set for the same reason - to beef up our masculine image collection. I made that card you cased in less than 10 minutes and I was so nervous trying to hurry with it - I signed on to that challenge late and thought there was really a time limit on the cards - then I realized later that there wasn't really a time limit. Your case of my card is awesome - so much better than mine. Thanks for honoring me with your time - hugz!

Alright, already ;) - you've pushed me over the top to get this set. Been on the fence for a couple of months now. Beautifully done!
Thanks for sharing.
