To me, nothing signals the start of summer like the blossoming of my peonies, hence this garden photo backdrop. This is my entry in Faith's progressive challenge and the Color Challenge. The hibiscus image was the freebie last week at Delightful Inspiration, and I thought Melon Mambo was the perfect color choice for the tropical blooms. I have peonies in that luscious color too, but it's too windy in that portion of the garden.
Happy Summer everyone!

Such a pretty card Hilda. You must be confident to put your card beside that attention grabbing Peony. Aren't they one of the most magnificent flowers? Wish they bloomed longer.

Beautiful card! Love your peonies. We got rain for a solid week and they are all brown now. So disappointing after you wait a whole year for them to bloom. Love yours. tfs

What a gorgeous card, Hilda! And your peonies look fabulous! Mine are at this stage right now too but I never thought to use them as a backdrop for my card pictures! Clever!
Gaw-gous!!! This is such a beautiful card. I love all the details on it. Your peony's look beautiful. I have an old farm house down the road that is empty. There are peony bushes so I go cut them for inside. They smell so wonderful.

I love my peonies, too, Hilda. Your card is so vibrant and beautiful in the melon mambo. Really magnificent! Happy summer to you, too! Hubby and I spent a wonderful day in beautiful Ludington visiting friends and pontooning on Hamlin Lake.
