I have affectionately named this technique "Wet Stamping".....although it is more commonly known as watercolor stamping. The reason I call it "wet" stamping is because you can stamp with much more than water!! All it takes is wet ink on a stamp (smiles). So use your markers (to avoid ink pad contamination) to color up a stamp then spray it with Shimmer Paint and Water/Alcohol, Glimmer Mist, Lindy's Mists, Water with Pearl Effects, and the list goes on......(although I wouldn't try paint here - too thick - you want something misty). I tried to keep this one rather clean and simple, stamping directly onto the card stock rather than on Watercolor paper. I love the sparkle and shine in real life!
It's a lot of fun to see the enhanced result from wetting your stamp with a variety of mediums! Enjoy! P.S. This is a sneak peak project....products from the 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog.

Really a striking, beautiful creation. I love to use markers on the more detailed images to get multi-colored results and am a big fan of this technique as well. TFS!
