Mama chick is paper-pieced. Baby chicks were colored with Copic marker and then flock powder was added for their fuzzy-wuzzy li'l baby chick bodies.
I call this technique my Word Window Slider card. I've uploaded the closed and open views.
The final word window count reads on the inside:
"9,10....Count again!"

Oh Charlene, I came running! Heard there was some big commotion at school! Heard somebuddy was flinging gingham at a goose! Three wee little chicks and one big Gingham Goose! Who knew? I suspect its Bertie.....and Stump the Grump was asking about her! Shh...here she comes!

This is just awesome! What an amazing fun card! Not sure you are the best one to learnt us to count.....counting by twos with three numbers at the top and 4 chicks! Don't you know we could get corn-fused???? Snort! You da teapotter!
