I made this one for Sentimental Sundays’ Challenge #61 – Patriotic / Use the colors of your nation’s flag. I chose to make a Post-It note holder. I gave one of these to a co-worker for her birthday a while back and she loved it, so I figured I’d make another one to have around for another birthday when it comes up. To make this I started with a 3-1/2 x 7-1/2 piece of red cardstock. I scored this piece at 3-1/2 &4. I then cut a 3 x 3 piece of blue cardstock and layered the red and the blue/white checked paper on it. I used my Creative Memories stare punch to punch out my yellow glitter stars. The USA letters were from the K&Company Around The World Alphabet Glitter Stickers pack. The little girl is from CTMH (a long time ago, when they were called D.O.T.S.) She is Miss September (the medium sized one). I colored her with my Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Blush Blossom, Pretty In Pink, and Creamy Caramel Stampin’ Up Stampin’ Write markers and a gold gel pen. I used my old Stamp-O-Graph to stamp over the image after coloring her so that you could see the details better. I think that about covers it??
