Sure is a lot of eye candy on today's Inspiration Challenge site. I chose Duet Tunic for my card. I'm also adding it to the FC gallery because of the text down both sides.
The sunflower (I made mine look like a daisy) was stamped onto a paper bag, masked and stamped again. I used Prismacolor pencils to add a hint of color, then drew a frame around it w/ a Micron pen and added another border w/ the white pencil.
The out of the box technique was used to cut out the image before attaching to a alternating black/white layers. On the final black layer, I stamped the greeting repeatedly down both sides using the white ink. I cut slits on either side of the flower and ran the ribbon through before attaching to the 4.25 x 5.5 card. I tied a little bow and fastened it on w/ a square brad.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
