This is for Jeanne's challenge today, "Stripes". Recently, I purchased a couple of matstacks at Joann's. I picked up one called La Creme because of my love of neutral colors and vintage themes.
When I found myself struggling a bit today to do something striped I turned to this stack and found a pretty little stripe. That was it... a few pages later I found a beautiful floral design and just cut it out. Added another stripe going horizontal, some scrunched ribbon, a bow and a brad and here's what I wound up with.
I've never made a card just by cutting and pasting and totally feel like I am a big cheater, but then again, I still fondly remember my days as a young child when all I wanted to do was cut and paste!! LOL
It was really quick and easy to make and I actually like the way it came out. I know I cheated by not stamping a thing on this card but sometimes a gals gotta do what a gals gotta do.
TFL and I think I'm looking forward to your views and comments... BTW, I did stamp a striped card for today's challenge, you'll see it soon!!
Have a great Friday everyone!

I love this beautiful card-and yo udid an awesome job with your fussy cutting-I have done exactly what you did today on my card-cut out a flower and taped it down-and I have done this many times-I dont think being creative is cheating

Big kudos to you! How did you ever cut that out?? I have that mat stack as well, however, when I tried to copy your design - UGH! I don't know how you did it! I gave up on the cutting. It really is a beautiful.
